THE SUPERYACHT FORUM 2018 “The Perfect Customer Journey”

The Superyacht Forum introduced by the Superyacht Group for the first time in 2017, merges together the SuperyachtDESIGN Week, the Superyacht Management Meetings, The Superyacht Owner’s Summit, Make Your Mark and the Global Superyacht Forum in one unique and improved event which gathers all key players on the superyacht market in a powerful meeting.

With a variety of keynote sessions, workshops, provoking spotlights and valuable networking time, The Superyacht Forum 2018 focused on “The perfect customer journey“. Key sessions explored the relationships between professionals that play a key role in the building process of superyachts which are also fundamental in providing owners with an enjoyable building experience by supporting customers in each stage in the process of ownership. In this respect, the superyacht industry shared views on the importance of a valuable project management in the building process of a superyacht, from the very early pre-contract definitions to commissioning and delivery. Moreover, in the interest on either sides of the contract, future owner and builder, an expert management of the early definition stage of new-build projects would helps turning owners’ desires into detailed specifications thus reducing the possibility of change orders in the following production stages, very often resulting in extra costs for the customer and for the shipyard and reduced quality for the project.
