M/Y Flying Dagger

25/09/2018

Delivered in July 2018, by Rossi Navi, M/Y Flying Dagger, a 49-metre fast displacement all-aluminium superyacht below 500 GT, is the utmost example of Italian craftsmanship and design. It will be showcased for the first time at the upcoming MYS 2018.

Perfectly executed by the Italian yard Rossi Navi, it is the most powerful and quietest project ever built by the yard. Exterior lines by Italian designer Enrico Gobbi Team for Design, interiors by Lazzarini Pickering Architetti, naval architect by Arrabito Naval Architects, owner’s representative and project management by Nicola Nicolai Yacht Consulting & Project Management in partnership with Azure Yacht Design and Naval Architecture, M/Y Flying Dagger is equipped with three MTU 16V 2000 engines, designed for a top speed of 30 knots, a cruising speed of 23 knots, and a range of 3,300 nm at 12 knots.

Project management has played a key role in the completion of this innovative superyacht. By coordinating and conveying the energies of all parties involved into a common objective, the best interest of the project, it smoothed the decision processes helping speeding up the production in order to deliver the project on time, desired quality and budget. It made sure the owner’s enjoyed the building process, overseeing and managing it on his behalf, while making a valuable investment.
