On Friday, November 27th, honouring the milestone and ancient tradition of the keel laying and coin ceremony which dates back to the Romans to bring yachts and passengers good luck during navigation, the yard and the project team kicked off construction on the full custom 62-meter Benetti FB 283.

Along with the builder’s internal team, the project’s team consists of Van OOssanen Naval Architects who developed the hull lines to meet the owner’s speed requirements, Giorgio M. Cassetta Design who penned the exteriors and interiors providing the project with an elegant and streamline modern look with luxury still understated details, while Nicola Nicolai Yacht Consulting & Project Management is managing the project as Owner’s Representative and Project Manager advising and assisting the client from the early definitions of the pre-purchase stage and protecting its investment during construction.
